Moscow
 Moscow
is argu1ably the most dynamic and rapidly changing major city in
the world. It is home to more than 12 million people and it is the
financial, cultural and governmental nerve center for the Russian
Federation and the other 14 countries of the former Soviet Union.
Moscow is justly celebrated for its rich cultural heritage, with
its great architecture, world famous museums and art, and for its
excellence in the performing arts. Known long for Red Square, iconic
St. Basil’s Cathedral, the Kremlin, Bolshoi Theatre and other
monuments to Russian cultural and historical achievement, Moscow
is now a fast-paced and quickly growing metropolis. It also has
a Klondike-like atmosphere of business opportunity. The city is
home to luxurious 5-star hotels, glamorous restaurants, trendy bars,
a sophisticated nightclub scene and many stimulating casinos. Nightlife
in Moscow is at least the rival of that of any other city and it
has a giddy, anything-goes feeling that is absolutely unique! Moscow
has grown up very quickly and has joined the ranks of the premier
cities in the world. For the tourist, it now offers everything that
one would expect of a world-class capital city.
Saint Petersburg

Petersburg enjoys the reputation as the “Venice of the North”.
It is justly recognized as one of the world’s most beautiful
and graceful cities. Its many canals are lined with stately mansions
that were constructed in the first 2 centuries after Peter the Great
founded the city in 1703. It also is home to many cultural monuments
of Russian history. The Hermitage Museum’s huge collection
rivals any other museum in the world. Also, the dramatic Spilt Blood
Cathedral, the Mariinsky Theatre, the palaces of Catherine and Peter
the Great and the nerve center of the social scene, Nevsky Prospekt
are all here. In addition to the traditional cultural advantages,
this breathtaking city of approximately 5 million has a lively café
and restaurant tradition and is home to many trendy bars and provocative
dance clubs.
